Dune Fest 2003 has been set for July 31 and August 1, 2 & 3, 2003

Winchester Bay, Oregon 
(4 miles south of Reedsport).

Oregon Dune Fest 2001!!  

 

Sponsored by the Reedsport/Winchester Bay Chamber of Commerce, the Winchester Bay Merchants Association, and the American Sand Drag Association. 

If you LOVE the dunes and ATVs - this is the place for you!!!

Event Map

 

Dune Fest Ticket Prices:

$25 for adults
$15 Intermediates (5 to 15)
Under age 5 are free
$15 One-day event tickets
$10 Parking passes


Camping on the Dunes:

Sand Camping (NO FACILITIES) is on a first-come, first-serve basis. When the area is full, camping will be closed to new-comers.

To camp in the sand drag area, you must have a four-day eveny ticket (armband) for each member of your party, and you must have a parking permit.  

There will be tractors available to tow you in position. The charge is $20. You provide the hook-up.  And any liability is your responsibility. 

There will also be camping available at Beach Parking Lot #2. The Forest Service will charge $5 per night to camp here.

Beach Parking Lots #1 and #3 will remain Day Use Only.

Event Entry Fees

Friday arm bands are $10.  Each band has five tabs and can be used as you wish.  Events cots one or two tabs from the arm band.  Each person must wear an armband, no shared bands or broken bands will be accepted.

A variety of kids events are available daily. Entry fee for kids is $20.

Pro drags have a $500 prize for first place, $250 for second.  The entry fee is $75.

Sportsman racing events with trophy prizes are $35 to enter.

The Leap has a $500 prize and costs $25 to enter.  Each entrant gets two tries for the prize.

The TVI Little Leap has the same entry fee and prize and is open to anyone over 16 years of age.

There will also be a $100 Steve Woolery Sportsmanship Award trophy.
