ASDA NEWS
SAND FEST CHANGES TO OREGON DUNE FEST
Contrary to all of the rumors that seem to be flying around, the event at Winchester Bay, Oregon in August is not cancelled. The past two events at Winchester Bay have been learning experiences. We have now developed what we feel to be the best format for the area and event. As this event is in the dunes, and most of the participants are sand duners, we have decided to make this the best, most fun and exciting sand dune event ever. We have changed the name of the event to reflect the changes. The American Sand Drag Association,
Oregon State Parks and town of Winchester Bay, Oregon would like to invite everyone to Oregon Dune Fest August 9, 10 & 11. The town is working very hard on the vendor’s fair and all of the other activities away from the dunes, while we are preparing a wide array of fun filled activities on the dunes. We are adding camping and lodging info to our
Track Information
page, along with maps and driving directions. You can find dune event information on our
Event Information
page. See you all in August, you don’t want to miss it.

The Vendors fair is going to be located on Beach Blvd in Winchester Bay this
year. There will be four blocks of fun and interesting things to buy and good
food to eat.
If you participated in the poker run last year you know we went all out and provided you with prizes that you can only expect from
Oregon Dune Fest. Dave and Kris Hoover have their hearts in this and do a fantastic job for us. This year we have Pete from GOT SAND involved.
